You know, I've never really understood the "time for a new xanga" concept, except where it didn't matter as much. (Or perhaps mattered more... depending on how you look at it.)

But I'm thinking that maybe it's time for a change. Maybe not. You know. This xanga's come a long way with me, and all, but... there's too much stupid crap in it. Months and months old, yes, but it's in there.

I don't remember when the last time I wrote a real *blog* entry in here. Mostly it's all just random crap, whatever I think of. But I do miss real blogging. You know, the long entries no one likes to read but your close friends maybe trudge through, if they're really motivated... or really bored... and recounts of everything that doesn't really matter. Because things can matter in different ways. Big things that you don't mind people knowing... big things you can't tell people. Stuff that seems a little important but really isn't. Just plain stupid stuff, like I've been putting in here. The writer in me hates seeing a lot of that.

I think it's more of a sucky week than a few days strung together. Zach really found the right word, even if it was likely for a different situation. Blah.

And, funny, the kind of entries I miss most are the ones I just called stupid.

Maybe we're all just walking contradictions/hypocrites/wannabes/angst-fueled-monsters.

But hey.

Who cares?

If I do do the new xanga thing, I'll let you know. If not, then I'll still be here. Whatever. Maybe I'll even come back, because I like having all my things in one place. Who knows?

1.) When I'm nervous, I pull my socks up. O_o

2.) I make up little ditties that I sing to my cats on occasion, when I am very hyper/happy (which are often one and the same).

3.) Also when I'm hyper, I spend a lot of time spinning in my desk chair. Or spinning things in my desk chair. Like Galadriel (our cat, not the elf).

4.) I have an amazing - almost scary - memory for things involving my close friends, yet sometimes I am the most absent-minded being on the planet.

5.) I have this habit of fiddling with my hair in karate. It drives my instructor insane.

(Submitted seven things for Scholastic: poetry [Fortunes, Waterfall, Mystery, Of Moths and Butterflies], Hourglasses [short short], Distractions [short short], Trip [short story], Fidget [short story], Tumbling After [short story], and Vacation [short story]. Almost all of the stories were written since school started, the exceptions being Vacation and Hourglasses (which was in PB last year, whoo hoo and stuff!). Obviously I've been productive lately. O_o)

I might be doing the musical. O_o I didn't last year, but we shall see if I can do it. It's not like I'm doing anything except total crap right now anyway, my homework load's amazingly light this year.

Hope I get a part. ^^;
